DELTA-TONE 9000 is a zinc flake coating applied non-electrolytically. This coating is bonded through a curing process on the metal surface. It consists of zinc and aluminium flaker bonded by an inorganic polymer

The coating offers a cathodic protection due to the metal pigment content.

CHARACTERISTICS OF DELTA-TONE

  • It does not cause hydrogen embrittlement. No use of acid pickling, non-electrolytic coating process

  • Electrical conductivity
  • Cr6 free. The coating is free from hazardous and prohibited substances

  • Good corrosion resistance
  • Silver appearance
  • Good temperature resistance
  • Good coefficient of friction
  • Cathodic corrosion protection

    • CORROSION RESISTANCE

    Corrosion resistance in salt spray test acc. to DIN 50021 varies from 500 h to 1000 h depending on the layer thickness
