DESCRIPTION
The series of PRECOTE® products provides sealing and locking properties to threaded fasteners by means of an adhesive coating
The coating is solvent-free after its application and therefore it does not contain hazardous materials.
When threaded components are assembled, the coating shows its properties because the microcapsules of adhesive material break and begin its performance.
Advantages of this coating:
- Stable torque values
- Low coefficient of friction
- Stable performance at high temperatures
- High resistance to chemicals
- Good corrosion protection
- Wide temperature range in use (-50 ºC to 120 ºC, to 170 ºC), depending on the product applied.
